Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy
Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
An imaginative landscape chart created using the CC3+ software platform.
Bundle Tiers
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.
Complete Collection
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
- Advanced Terrain Generator
- Dungeon Creation Tool
- City Designer 3
- Cosmic Mapping System
- Viewpoint Enhancement
- Dioramas 3

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
